Q : Is my phone compatible with this smartwatch?
A : This smartwatch is compatible with most smartphones with Android 5.0 & IOS 9.0 or above. All you need to do is download a CoolWear app to connect.
Q : How to pair the watch to your phone?
A : 1.Please scan the QR code on the box / the QR code on the watch screen, or download it from the App Store or Google Play.
2. After the download is complete. Turn on the Bluetooth function of your phone — Turn on the smart watch — Enter ‘Coolwear’ — Click on the bottom of ‘Device’ — Click on the top of ‘Add device’. Then you will find the watch device, the name is ‘M29’, and then click to connect.
*Please do not pair directly via Bluetooth. The pairing operation should be done in the APP page.
Q : Call/Text Messages/SMS Notification Troubleshooting.
A : 1. Please ensure the permissions of App, messages, calls, etc. are allowed when you download the ‘Coowear’ app for the first time. (When making the first connection, it will pop up: Allow M29 to recevice your iphone notifications? You need to select ‘Allow’. )
2.If only the SMS notification is displayed but the content is not displayed.（Enter the phone’s ‘Settings’–select ‘Messages’–‘Notifications’–set ‘Show previews’ to ‘Always’）
*The watch won’t receive any notification if messages/calls/SMS notifications didn’t appear on dropdown of your phone, make sure they are able to show up: Phone Settings–>Notifications> Find the app you need to get notification from–>Allow Notifications.
In the App: authorize the watch to receive messages. Do not enable the DND mode.
Q : How to measure my heart rate & steps more accurately?
A : 1.Please make sure your personal info (age,height,weight) in coolwear app are filled in correctly.
2.For a single measurement on the watch, please wear the watch one finger wide below the wrist bone, snug but comfortable on your wrist. Then keep stay still and breathing peacefully. It needs more time to measure more accurate data. This is normal that the heart rate data will be volatile at start. You will find that the data will be more accurate, if you measure more times and test longer.
3.This watch counts steps by a built-in 3D gravity sensor, and the step counting result is affected by the user’s swinging arm posture, stride length, body type, road level or slope, and other factors. However, after many trials, the step counting data of our watch will not exceed 10% error from the actual. (If the number of steps is less than 30, it may not be recorded.)
We are very conscious of user privacy, although we will never upload your data privately, and our app can be used for vast majority functions without even logging in.
But many features we still turn off by default, unless you authorize our app to use it.
If there is a feature that is not working properly, the first thing you can do is check in the CoolWear app to see if you have authorized the feature to be turned on.
